National Stud Appoint New CEO The Irish National Stud announced that Cathal Beale will succeed John Osborne as CEO commencing 1st July. Beale is a graduate of the 2007 Stud Management Program at the Irish National Stud and was also a graduate of the Darley Flying Start. His work experience includes spells with Paddy Power, the Racing Post, Forenaghts Stud and Tinnakill Bloodstock and the Board felt this made him uniquely qualified for his new role. Beale also holds a B.A. from UCD and a Masters in Management from Smurfit Business School. On his appointment Beale commented: "This is a wonderful opportunity and a job I have trained for during my entire career. It’s an exciting challenge and I’m fortunate to be running with the same Management Team who are both focused and passionate, and the same Board of Directors. I am confident it will be business as usual and look forward to meeting clients both old and new in the near future."
