Ned Kelly v Limestone Lad? Irish Champion Hurdle winner Ned Kelly is likely to make his reappearance against Limestone Lad at Fairyhouse on Sunday. The Ballymore Properties Hatton's Grace Hurdle is Edward O'Grady's initial target for the six-year-old: 'At this stage Ned Kelly is a probable for Sunday`s race. He seems to be well in himself.' Ned Kelly missed the Smurfit Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March on veterinary advice after his blood picture gave some cause for concern three days before the race. He has not run since finishing third behind Davenport Milenium and Just Our Job in the Emo Oil Champion Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival in April. Meanwhile, Davenport Milenium, taken out of Sunday's race at Fairyhouse, may make his seasonal debut in the Pertemps Christmas Hurdle at Kempton on St.Stephen's Day.Mullins said: 'I took Davenport Milenium out of the Fairyhouse race because of the amount of rain we have had. I felt that if I had kept him in I might have been tempted to run him. I am looking for alternatives in England and one of them is the big hurdle at Kempton which is on the same card as the King George VI Chase in which Florida Pearl is expected to take his chance. 'There are other possible engagements in December for Davenport Milenium but I haven`t made up my mind.' Davenport Milenium, winner of two major races at the Punchestown Festival in April, is 10-1 with Ladbrokes for the Smurfit Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham next March.
