New General Manager At Gowran Park The board of directors of Gowran Park have appointed Margaret Fogarty as General Manager with effect from November 27th 2006. Margaret, a returning native, brings to Gowran Park extensive sales and marketing management experience including ten years with Texaco UK, five years as Business Development Manager with the Esso distributor for the Midlands and South East, and most recently a two year period with Irish Examiner Publications Marketing ? specifically delivering sports related promotions throughout Ireland. Joe Connolly, Chairman, said: - 'Margaret's appointment, which combines valuable experience with a passion and history of involvement in horse racing, and a commitment to local economic and social development ? heralds a period of even greater recognition of Gowran Park in the future ? both locally and nationally'.
