Gavin Cromwell’s Mind Your Own Business Syndicate-owned Nibras Rainbow (16/1) registered a fourth career success today, landing Dundalk’s Book Online At DundalkStadium.com Handicap (Div II) under jockey Robert Whearty.

Ex-UK-trained, Nibras Rainbow’s previous wins came at Leicester, on the all-weather at Newcastle and at Killarney in 2024 and today he scored by three-parts of a length from Mapa

Whearty, who finished second in last season’s Champion Apprentice Jockeys title, said "we knew he’d handle the surface very well and he is versatile enough on any sort of ground. They went a serious gallop throughout so I had something to aim at and while I ended up getting there, Colin (Keane on Thompson Gunner got by me. To be fair, he stuck to it well and battled out to the line.

“I thought Colin's lad just parked a bit when he got there and it just gave me that chance to get by him.

“I'd say he’ll be kept going for the winter and he's probably not overly hard on himself."
