No Cheltenham repeat bid for Domesday Stuart Edmunds has ruled last year's Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup winner Domesday Book out of a return to the Cheltenham Festival. The Newport Pagnell handler will try and ready the eight-year-old, who has missed most of the campaign with a tendon injury, for a tilt at either the Scottish Grand National at Ayr or the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown Edmunds said: "He is back cantering. We keep re-scanning him each time we step him up and touchwood his scans have been good so far. If he goes anywhere this year, it will be either the Scottish National or the Bet365 Gold Cup. He is fifty-fifty to come back at the moment." The trainer added: "If we are in any doubt with him, we will stop and come back next season as time is the best cure for an injury. "He will be targeted at the Grand National next year."
