Little Mike made all the running under Ramon Dominguez to land the Grade One Arlington Million on Saturday.

Dale Romans' five-year-old managed to get an easy lead and Dominguez timed the fractions perfectly up front.

As they stacked up to challenge in behind Dominguez kicked on aboard Little Mike around the home turn, and soon had a five-length lead on the field.

Luca Cumani's Afsare, who was a little nervy beforehand down at the start, came out of the pack to run on for second but it was too little too late.

The British raider was well fancied after his recent second in the Sky Bet York Stakes but he had to settle for the runners-up spot once again.

John Gosden's Colombian dead-heated for third with Rahystrada but last year's Secretariat winner Treasure Beach and Marco Botti's Crackerjack King disappointed in behind.
