Nolan hoping Discorama will continue to improve Paul Nolan is looking forward to the future with Discorama after his good run at Cheltenham last week. The five-year-old finished second to Gordon Elliott's Blow By Blow in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle. "Gordon's one was a real good horse in bumpers and our fellow just didn't get by him," said Nolan. "We have a nice horse for next season and hopefully he will continue to improve as well. "We'll have to take things as they come with him and there is probably no point going for a handicap with him in Ireland now. "I'll look for a novice race with him next, but would like to avoid the big races and maybe pick up a smaller novice. "There's a winners' of one at Punchestown and that could be the race for him. "His run was something to be proud of and Gordon is a very good friend of mine as well. He's a very, very good fellow and is brilliant at his job. "There are five or six trainers making a good spiel for themselves and it's up to us to try and get a few decent horses and get back competitive."
