Obama Army marches in to seal Foley's double Shane Foley doubled up at Dundalk when he took the 0-60 handicap over a mile on Obama Army. The nicely backed 4/1 chance was fully eighth halfway and came with his challenge inside the final quarter of a mile. He was ridden to the front inside the final furlong and kept on well to beat Akashaa (16/1 - 10/1) by half a length. Ballymagreehan, the 7/2 favourite, kept on one paced in third, beaten three and a-half lengths by the winner. This was Obama Army's first victory in Ireland to go with two in Britain. Ado McGuinness said: "We've tried him over all sorts of trips. We tried him over a mile and a-half and he travelled well and didn't get home. "In all fairness to Shane, he got him out well there today. We put visors and a tongue-tie on him - with that type of horse, you have to keep trying different things. Thanks be to God it has worked today. "Fair play to Breen (White, owner), he's a good supporter of mine. It is great to get a win for him. "We will tip away with these type of races and he probably will get a stint up here in the winter series. You wouldn't know where he could end up, he could end up in claimers before the year is out but, if he is, he is. He has done his job." Foley also landed the opener on Bear On The Run for Danny Murphy.
