O'Brien five among Champagne Stakes 13 Power leads a string of five possible runners from Aidan O'Brien's yard in the One Call Insurance Champagne Stakes at Doncaster on Saturday. The Ballydoyle handler has plenty of options in the Group Two event, with Power trying to regain the winning thread after his surprise defeat in the Phoenix Stakes last time. He could be joined by Reply and Vault, as well as maiden winners Crusade and Daddy Longlegs. Acomb winner Entifaadha could represent William Haggas while owner Hamdan Al Maktoum has another contender in the Roger Varian-trained Ektihaam. Jeremy Noseda's Solario Stakes winner Talwar (who has been supplemented for the National Stakes) stands his ground along with the Richard Hannon-trained Trumpet Major, who finished fourth in that Sandown contest. Hannon also has Bronterre in the mix with Peter Chapple-Hyam confirming Acomb fifth Al Khan. John Quinn's Superlative Stakes winner Red Duke and Clive Brittain's maiden Abshir Zain complete the 13-strong list of possibles.
