O'Brien lands 10th Dee Stakes with San Antonio In the Boodles Dee Stakes at Chester, Aidan O'Brien's San Antonio beat his son Donnacha O'Brien's Alder. Following an impressive start to the season at Cork, Alder was the 11-10 favourite for the Listed contest, while San Antonio who had won an all-weather race at Dundalk, was sent off at 16-5. Ryan Moore, as usual, positioned San Antonio well throughout the race, allowing him to stride to the front while his competitors vied for position behind. Alder mounted a significant challenge around the home turn, but San Antonio refused to back down and maintained his lead to pass the post with a length and three-quarters advantage, giving O'Brien his 10th victory in the race.
