Alnofoor followed-up on his breakthrough success at Navan, as he led home 14 rivals in the five-furlong Boyle Sports Handicap.

A third success in less than a fortnight for Claire O'Connell, the Twilight Son eight-year-old proved easy-to-back and from 11/4 in early shows, he was eventually returned an 11/2 chance.

Prominent throughout under Jack Kearney, the 55-rated bay travelled strongly and led narrowly from the two-furlong pole, keeping on well when ridden inside the final furlong, coming home a length to the good.

Pat Flynn 's Jordan Breeze (9/2jf) ran on well to take second under Robyn Donaghue-Leahy, while veteran Art Of Unity (16/1) was just a neck away in third.

One of two Willie McCreery-trained representatives in the line-up, Happy Henry was the other 9/2jf and he finished fifth.

"He must have soft ground and he loves it. Once the ground is soft, we have to make use of it!" O'Connell reflected.

"He is improving for sure.

"This one came up a little bit quick, and we probably won't go as quick again, but we do have to use the ground as it is key.

"Once it dries up, he will be going on a break."
