The King Of Kells and In From The Cold have kept County Meath-based trainer Mick Mulvany’s name up in lights in recent times. Previously a headline maker for the Oristown House handler, On The Go Again, has only run three times in 2019 though.

On The Go Again has amassed over 200,000 Euros in prize-money. The home-bred Arakan gelding has been a fantastic servant, triumphing in the 2017 Lartigue Hurdle at Listowel, before following on in the 2018 Irish Lincoln and the Listed Heritage Stakes at Leopardstown.

The six-year-old has failed by some way to match that level in appearances this August and September and Mulvany revealed: “He’s on the quiet list at the moment as we weren’t happy with him after a few poor runs.

“He was working well at home but he wasn’t doing it on the racecourse. I let him out to get a bit of grass before the weather got too bad.

“He had his wind done last year and maybe we’ll have to have a look at it again. He’s not making a noise but he’s just not finishing out his races. We’ll get him looked at now.”

He added: “You would be hoping that we can get him back to where he was. He’ll have scopes done and we’ll see what shows up.”
