Oratorio Considered For Classic

Aidan O´Brien is mulling over a possible crack at the Breeders´ Cup Classic with Irish Champion Stakes winner Oratorio.

Although the Danehill colt is still set to take his chance in the Group One Emirates Airline Champion Stakes at Newmarket, the Ballydoyle handler has not ruled out a trip to Belmont Park for the 4million contest on October 29.

'We are training Oratorio with the Newmarket race in mind at present, but we are considering putting him in the Classic and maybe having a look at that race for him,' O´Brien told the Racing Post.

'We will wait and see what happens but it is just something we are thinking about and there is no more to it than that at this stage.'
