Aidan O'Brien says Excelebration and Power are under consideration for the Prix Jacques le Marois.

Four times second to the mighty Frankel, O'Brien looks set to send Excelebration abroad in search of a second Group One success.

Power had been in the mix for the Prix Maurice de Gheest this weekend but could now wait a week and head to Deauville instead.

"Excelebration has two more pieces of work to do, we're looking at France, not this weekend the following one at Deauville over a mile," O'Brien told At The Races.

"Everything is well with him. He had a break after the last day.

"Power is in the same race, he was also in the Maurice de Gheest but the ground is on the slow side.

"He'll be having a look at the same race as Excelebration, but obviously we wouldn't want to run them both so if one misses it they'll got for a mile race the next day in France."

Fame And Glory is likely to be seen in the Gain Horse Feeds Irish St Leger at the Curragh after losing his Ascot Gold Cup crown.

"Ascot was a very slow-run race and I probably didn't go through everything enough with Jamie (Spencer)," said O'Brien.

"When we discussed options I told him to drop him in and take his time but we never dreamt they'd go so slow.

"We've given him a break and we're looking at the Irish Leger for him.

"We'd be prepared to go on if the pace is slow the next day."
