Plumpton abandoned This afternoon's meeting at Plumpton has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track. Heavy rain this morning left some patches of standing water on the track forcing officials to call an impromptu noon inspection. However, that check showed the track to be waterlogged in places and the meeting was called off.
