Powerscourt Turned Over In Germany Aidan O´Brien´s Powerscourt suffered a shock odds-on reverse in Munich on Sunday as he could manage no better than second in the Group One Grosser Dallmayr-Preis.The four-year-old, runner-up to Rakti in the Prince Of Wales´s Stakes at Royal Ascot, cut out a strong pace in the 10-furlong contest under Jamie Spencer and seemed to have matters under control.But 15-1 chance Intendant came with a strong run in the final furlong under Jiri Palik to catch the son of Sadler´s Wells and prevail by a length and a half.Mick Channon´s Imperial Dancer ran a big race to be third, with the Mark Johnston-trained Scott´s View back in fourth.'We were beaten by a better horse, there´s no excuse,' Spencer said afterwards.Imperial Dancer´s rider Sam Hitchcott said: 'We had a perfect race, but he prefers softer ground. We are very happy with him.'Johnston said of Scott´s View: 'That was okay, I think he will now run in the Arlington Million in Chicago.'
