Precautionary Inspection called for Wexford

There will be a precautionary inspection of the course at Wexford at 4pm on Saturday due to a Yellow Rainfall Warning.

The current going at Wexford, where racing is scheduled to take place on both Sunday and Monday, is Heavy (Soft to Heavy in paces) following 17mm of rain.

The going at Leopardstown ahead of tomorrow's meeting Soft but there is heavy rain forecast for today with between 15 -20mm due to fall. The rain is expected to clear overnight.

Galway which races on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will miss most of the rain over the weekend and the going there is described as Soft on the National Hunt course and Soft to Heavy on the Flat course.
