Ricci excited by King George Owner Rich Ricci is looking forward to taking on all-comers in the William Hill King George VI Chase. Ricci has ante-post favourite Vautour as well as Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Djakadam, who runs in the John Durkan at Punchestown on Sunday, among the entries for the Kempton showpiece. That race and the big three-miler in Ireland over Christmas, the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown, look like being extremely competitive, with the likes of Cue Card, Coneygree, Don Cossack and Siliviniaco Conti in the mix. "If they all show up it's going to be one hell of a King George, let alone a Gold Cup and the Lexus could be good if Coneygree runs as well," Ricci told At The Races. "There are no soft options and no places to hide. That is what racing should be about."
