Rince Ri out of Gold Cup Rince Ri, generally a 20/1 chance for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, has been ruled out of the Festival.The nine-year-old underwent surgery on the Curragh last night to rectify a colic.It is understood that he has come through his emergency operation well and connections are hopeful that he will make a full recovery.Ted Walsh`s gelding recently finished third behind behind Alexander Banquet in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown but will now miss the remainder of the season.
