Roca Rolls to Britannia Prize Roca Tumu was another winner for Ireland at Royal Ascot this week when he landed the Britannia Stakes at 20/1. The Joanna Morgan-trained colt made just about all the running towards the far side of the track and responded tremendously gamely when coming under pressure approaching the distance. Tarikhi and Queensbury Rules both threw down strong challenges inside the final furlong but the winner dug deep and crossed the line with a neck to spare. Market leader Wentworth made up some late ground without ever being a real threat and hit the frame for fourth place. "I could retire after this, I'm so delighted. It can only go down from here!" said Morgan. "A month ago I thought we could win this but the closer you get to the race, the more you start your doubt yourself. "I first came to Ascot as an apprentice jockey in 1975 and the first horse I bought here was third in the Queen's Vase about 25 years ago but this is the first winner."
