Despite a market drift, Rock Ya Boy Ya completed a hat-trick in the Start Your Free Trial On Racing TV Now Rated Novice Hurdle.

Easing from early shows of 9/4 to a starting price of 6/1, the Red Jazz seven-year-old raced mainly in second under Alix Balfe and was almost on terms with the leader from four out.

Improving to lead before the penultimate flight, the 108-rated bay soon asserted and was spring-heeled over the last, ultimately coasting to a four-length win.

The Paul Nolan-trained Colonia Victoria (5/1) snatched second, with the front-running Costacurta (3/1f) just a short head away in third.

"It's unreal, it took him so long to win one and now he is after winning three," successful handler Francis Casey enthused.

"He has a little cut on his leg and we'll have a look at it now.

"We'll have to keep going with him, he is so relaxed and is a family pet. Anyone could ride him.

"I was nearly going to give him away last year. He was meant to be point-to-pointing at this stage but he did a terrific gallop over at Dreapers and had a little niggle after coming back, so I had to give him a year off.

"I'll see what way the cut is before making a plan. We train near the beach so I can bring him down there."
