Rocky Sky sold to continue career in US Rocky Sky will continue her career in America after being sold to the US following her Listed victory at Navan in late April. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly gave trainer Ross O'Sullivan his first stakes win when claiming the Salsabil Stakes in stunning style at odds of 33/1. She was owned and bred by Mick and Catherine Kinane who subsequently accepted an offer that O'Sullivan described as one “that they couldn't refuse”:- “She was sold after the Listed race as Mick got a very good offer. “He has a full-brother coming along that might go to the sales in the autumn and he also has the mare back in foal as well. “Rocky Sky has the three things that tick the boxes for America. She gets a trip, handles the ground well and takes a turn well. “There is loads of improvement in her and when you go back through the race in Navan there have been plenty of winners come out of it. It was a good race. “It's a shame to lose her but obviously you can understand the owners doing it and they have a couple coming along, a couple to get excited about.”
