Rosato strikes at Navan again Rosato quickened away in fine style to run out a cosy winner of the sprint handicap at Navan this afternoon. Rory Mulligan produced the 7/2 favourite to lead over a furlong from home and she soon put the race to bed. The Charles Weld-trained filly shot a few lengths clear and Mulligan could afford to ease up late on for a four-length success over Coincidental Glory. Rosato was recording her fourth career victory and her third over this course and distance. Weld said: "Three out of three course and distance. "There hasn't been a race for her for ages. We tried to force her in five furlongs two runs ago (here) and she was just swept off her feet. "She's just tough and consistent, in fairness. She's so handy to have around. "A few people have enquired about her, but she works with everything, and she will pop up and earn her keep. "In fairness, Rory and Patrick have been riding her all year and the two of them get a great tune out of her. They are two great jockeys. "Rory gave her a peach there today."
