Cave Court, who was brought down at Down Royal just over a week ago, faces a scan tomorrow which will dictate whther he runs at Fairyhouse over Easter.

Noel Kelly's charge had been in terrific form in winning four of his previous five races, but may have picked up an injury when he was brought down at the fourth flight in the Full Circle Series Qualifier Novice Handicap Hurdle.

Speaking at Dundalk on Friday evening, Kelly said: "He was brought down in Down Royal and is a wee bit stiff and sore since.

"We schooled him during the week and he's not fully right, he didn't school that great.

"We were going to run him at Fairyhouse next weekend and I don't know if he will run. I'll give him an entry on Tuesday.

"I'll get the vet to scan him on Tuesday. He's riding out okay, but there is a wee bit of light swelling.

"My plan was Punchestown for that €80,000 race (Full Circle Series Final), but that is up the left now.

"He's a nice horse, but he needs a wee cut in the ground, so I'd like to get him out shortly and get his confidence built up again."

Cave Court's winning spree encompassed two handicap hurdle and a couple of handicap chases in August and September last year.
