Seabass to return in the coming weeks Seabass, who finished third in the 2012 Aintree Grand National, will return to action in the coming weeks having been off the track since June. The Ted Walsh trained eleven-year-old went off the 11/2 favourite for the Aintree showpiece last year, but he could only manage a disappointing thirteenth. He was last seen finishing sixth in a Grade Two chase at Auteuil in June, and after suffering from a slight bout of colic since, the son of Turtle Island is nearing a return. Speaking on RTE Racing yesterday afternoon, Walsh said: “He is going to run maybe in a month's time. “He got a bit held up, he got a slight touch of a colic before Christmas and that set him back a bit. “He was going to run around Christmas time but he is just getting over that now, and he is back to himself. “I hope to run him in three weeks to a month's time and he is in good nick thank God."
