Seven in against Frankel A total of eight horses have stood their ground for next Wednesday's QIPCO Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Frankel is the clear headline act on the second day of the Sussex festival of racing and will face a maximum of seven rivals in the one mile contest. They include his stablemate and pacemaker Bullet Train but another regular runner against him is absent as Aidan O'Brien has decided that enough is enough for Excelebration who has come up short on all five occasions that they've met. O'Brien could still provide the chief opposition with Jersey Stakes winner Ishvana, Reply and Power among three possibles for the Ballydoyle handler. Coral-Eclipse Stakes runner-up Farhh has been supplemented by Godolphin as had been widely reported with Strong Suit and Gabrial completing the octet.
