Shergar Cup teams finalised Paul Hanagan and Olivier Peslier will captain the British and European teams at the 2011 Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup this Saturday at Ascot. Reigning British champion jockey, Paul Hanagan, will captain the Great Britain team alongside Hayley Turner and Jim Crowley, both of whom have ridden Group 1 winners in the last two months. Olivier Peslier, who rode his 100th Group 1 victory on Goldikova at Deauville at the weekend, will captain the European Team alongside another French ace, Christophe Lemaire, and Italian Mirco Demuro, who won this year's Dubai World Cup on Victoire Pisa. The Irish and Rest of the World teams had already been announced. Team Ireland: Richard Hughes (Captain), Fran Berry and Colm O'Donoghue. Team Great Britain: Paul Hanagan (Captain), Hayley Turner and Jim Crowley. Team Europe: Olivier Peslier (Captain), Mirco Demuro and Christophe Lemaire.
