Reliable Summer Snow (10/1) bagged her second success of the year today, landing Down Royal’s Proparamedics Medicall Handicap for trainer Peter Lawlor and jockey Rory Cleary.

Initially first successful in 2023, the grey daughter of El Kabeir won twice last year and today followed up last month’s Leopardstown success, for a sixth career triumph.

Racing in second, Summer Snow improved to lead travelling well two furlongs out and quickened clear to score easily, by three lengths, from Alto Sax .

Donard, Co. Wicklow-based Lawlor reported "I was just a bit worried about the draw (in 8).

"That's her second win for me now and we'll see what the handicapper gives us. I'd say we will still be in the 70s and I might look at Derby weekend, where there's a 0-80 for her. We'll see how she comes out of this."
