Sixty Forty Against Inglis Return Howard Johnson assessed the situation as sixty forty against resuming Inglis Drever's racing career. He was speaking of his three-time World Hurdle legend on today's Morning Line. The 10-year-old continues to recover from a hock injury having pulled up on his comeback in the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury in November. "He'll be x-rayed and scanned next week and then I'll either pull stumps and retire him or put him on the road for a fortnight/three weeks but I think we'll probably pull stumps to be honest, he's done us proud and I don't want to get him back to Cheltenham and come down the hill and be pulled-up and get booed off Cheltenham racecourse, it's not my policy. "He is sound at the walk when he's been going in the jacuzzi and maybe we'll put a set of shoes on him next week if the vet says, because we pulled the shoes off. We'll give him a go but it's sixty forty against to be honest," commented Johnson. (EM)
