Smullen appeal dismissed

Pat Smullen had his appeal against a two-day ban for careless riding dismissed by the Turf Club, at a hearing at Punchestown today.

Smullen was given the suspension last Saturday at Limerick following his ride on Breenainthemycra in the Racing Again At Limerick 17th May Handicap.

He was adjudged to have caused interference to Love The Feeling, with Tom Madden having to check his mount.

Smullen will miss the meetings next weekend at Wexford (9th) and Leopardstown (10th).
