Sorcerous to miss York Aidan O`Brien's Derby dark horse, Sorcerous, will not run in tomorrow`s Dante Stakes at York. The colt, who beat In Time`s Eye on his only start to date last October, had been mentioned as a Dante possible over the weekend. 'There is nothing wrong with him but he will not run at York. He was never a definite runner anyway. We are unlikely to have runners at York,' said a Ballydoyle spokesman last evening. Earlier Aidan O`Brien had described Johannesburg as 'a possible' for Royal Ascot`s Golden Jubilee Stakes, formerly the Cork & Orrery. The colt`s owner, Michael Tabor, had suggested over the weekend that the Breeders` Cup winner and Kentucky Derby disappointment would run in the Group One contest. But O`Brien said: 'It is too early to say for definite. Ascot is a long way away.'
