Arthur Moore, who has won the race five times since 1984 with The Ellier (1984), Thinking (1987), Ryhane (1998) and Lyreen Wonder (2000 & 2001) will be represented by Jaquouille (9-11) and Well Tutored (9-13).

Last season's Power Gold Label Irish Grand National winner Point Barrow will have to carry 10-13 in Sunday's feature, while last year's williamhill.ie Troytown winner Prince of Tara will have to shoulder 10st 5lb if he is to complete a memorable double for the Mahon stable.

Other notable entries include Pearly Jack (10-4), who bypassed last weekend´s totesport Beecher Chase in order to take his chance in the Troytown, and Willie Mullins' Homer Wells (10-4) who looks set to run instead of taking his chance in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup this Saturday.

RACE HISTORY: The race was named after the great Troytown, who won the 1920 Aintree Grand National

Handicapper Noel O'Brien commented; 'I think it's a super race again this year. The quality of the race is reflected in the top weight, and the fact that the Irish Grand National winner Point Barrow is in the race off 10st 13lb, show's the strength in depth in Irish handicap chasing.'

David Hood, Director Of Racing, William Hill said: 'I guess Ted holds the key to the race somewhat with the two top weights and plenty of trainers would like to know what he´ll run and if the weights will go up. He continued 'At this stage it looks like a very competitive race and it will be very interesting to see how the betting progresses throughout the week'
