Sprints moved if Cork gets go ahead Cork remains unfit for racing ahead of Sunday 5th August fixture and further morning course inspection planned. The Turf Club has announced that, following a course inspection at Cork this morning, both courses were found to be unfit for racing due to waterlogging ahead of the scheduled fixture on Sunday, 5th August. A further 7.30am course inspection will take place tomorrow to see if racing can go ahead. Depending on the outcome of that inspection, provisions have been made to move the two six furlong races on tomorrow’s programme to the round course should the sprint course be deemed unraceable.
