St. Stephen's Day Going updates Heavy rain over the last three days has resulted in significant changes to the going for today's three irish race meetings at Down Royal, Leopardstown and Limerick. The most significant change comes at Leopardstown where the going is now described as Soft on the Hurdles course and Soft (Yielding in places) on the Chase course. 45mm of rain fell at the Foxrock venue since 9.30am on Christmas Day. The weather forecast is for a mainly dry day today. Down Royal had 28mm of rain since declaration time on Thursday and the ground is now described as Soft (Yielding to Soft in places). More showers are expected throughout today. Limerick remains Heavy on both tracks following 10mm of rain since declaration time. The forecast in the Limerick area is for a mainly dry day today and on Monday with the possibility of more showers on Tuesday.
