Starbright set for Moyglare Kevin Prendergast is looking forward to a crack at the Moyglare Stud Stakes with Curragh maiden winner Starbright. After filling the runner-up spot on her first couple of appearances, the daughter of Duke Of Marmalade made it third time lucky with an authoritative performance in what looked a typically warm maiden at Irish Flat racing's headquarters. Prendergast has trained two fillies to win the Moyglare in the last six years and feels Starbright deserves a tilt at the Group One test on September 9. "She's come out of the race well and we'll see what happens over the next few weeks, but at the moment the Moyglare is her target," said Prendergast. "She ran well first time out and then bumped into a nice filly of David Wachman's (Hint Of A Tint) over six furlongs. "She stepped up to a mile to win the other day but I'd say seven furlongs on good ground will be perfect for her. "We've not had that many two-year-olds run yet. I think we've only had seven or eight out and they have just been a bit more backward this year. "We should have a few nice ones out before too long."
