Nikki Swango powered clear inside the final furlong to run out a cosy winner of the seven furlong handicap at Dundalk, for Ado McGuinness.

The winner had chased home Sovereign Banter here five days ago and was 9/4 favourite (from 7/2) to go one better this time.

Adam Caffrey produced the Galileo Gold filly to lead a furlong-and-a-half from home and she asserted in the closing stages, easing up late on for a three-and-a-half length win over Eric Lock

Caffrey said: "I suppose the other day over six (furlongs) she ran a little bit gassy on her first run back in a while.

"She probably bumped into one (Sovereign Banter) that was just well down the weights. There was a stone difference I think with Jimmy's (Dalton) claim the other day.

"Delighted now. We jumped and I got a nice position, and she picked up well and put it to bed very sweetly."
