Tenth win for Hassett's stable stalwart Harry's Hill The Bet With Tote On Racing & Sports Handicap over five furlongs was the finale at the Curragh and Harry's Hill, successful in the corresponding race in 2022, came out on top. Also victorious in the Rockingham Handicap here in 2023, the Tipp Ramblers Partnership's  eight-year-old had finished second to Mary Shoelaces over course and distance on his previous start. Having tracked that front-runner from an early stage, Paddy Harnett's mount headed her 100 yards out and went on to beat Soulful Diva by a length and a quarter. Bold Optimist was a short-head further back in third with Mary Shoelaces fading late to be fourth. “That’s 10 races won now and to have a horse that can win 10 races in this country, it’s hard enough to win one. He’s a legend and we love him,” said a delighted winning trainer Martin Hassett. “He loves it here, it’s maybe the stiff five. He had a couple of flat spots at the end of last year and the start of this year. When he’s on song he’s on song. “He looks well and everything has been going well. “We’ve run him over six once and he didn’t get home. I think there is a race in Bellewstown for him, he likes the fast five there. That depends on what the handicapper does. “I had a fair idea that he’d overturn Mary Shoelaces today. Colin (Keane) felt he probably could have won the last day. “Paddy’s 5lb helped. We’re trying to help Paddy and Sam Coen, they are all neighbours and friends so it’s not simple. “I used to be slagging Paddy saying that he was the only one in Ireland that hadn’t rode a winner on him.
