The Pipeman sluices in for Lupini Unplaced on two starts after finishing second on debut at Navan, The Pipeman came roaring back to form when routing his 13 rivals in Dundalk's in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series (C&G) Maiden.  The 8/1 chance, owned by Condron Concrete Ltd moved into the second halfway through the seven-furlong contest and cruised into the lead a furlong and a half out. Joey Sheridan's mount went right away to post an eight-length verdict over Jacob's Journey. Winning trainer Natalia Lupini remarked “He won well. He’s improved a lot after being gelded, it settled his head. A lot of the Cotai Glorys can be a little bit buzzy. “Joey gave him a lovely ride, kept it simple, and he said he was very strong at the line. “He’s going to be a grand horse for the winter here. “The last time here was his first run after being gelded, and he probably needed the run. “He was straightforward today, no issues, and it’s great to have him. “I’d say going forward we’ll keep him at six or seven around here. Hopefully we’ll have him for next season as well on the turf.”  Additional reporting by Gary Carson
