The Rock And Johannesburg Heading Down Under

Former Ballydoyle champions Rock Of Gibraltar and Johannesburg head a list of 15 stallions set for stud duty at Coolmore Australia for the upcoming Southern Hemisphere breeding season, it was revealed on the Thoroughbred Times website.

Aidan O'Brien, with Rock Of Gibraltar carrying Sir Alex Ferguson's colours to a record seven consecutive Group One victories, including the Sagitta 2000 Guineas, St James's Palace Stakes and Prix du Moulin, trained both horses.

Johannesburg was the outstanding two-year-old of 2001 when he was unbeaten in seven races, rounding off a memorable campaign with a win in the Breeders` Cup Juvenile.
