Thousand Stars may take Long Walk to Ascot Thousand Stars could take the trip over to the UK for the JLT Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot on December 19. Willie Mullins' popular grey showed he retains plenty of his old ability at the age of 11 when landing a Grade One at Auteuil last month. Further Irish interest in the Grade One contest comes from Mouse Morris' Alpha Des Obeaux, second in the Hatton's Grace, Prince Of Scars and Taglietelle for Gordon Elliott and Snow Falcon. Three-time winner Reve De Sivola is also among the 20 entries. Nick Williams' 10-year-old will be aiming to equal Baracouda's record of four wins in the Grade One. Reve De Sivola was not disgraced on his seasonal reappearance in France when sixth behind Thousand Stars. The first two home from Newbury last weekend have been entered, Thistlecrack and Deputy Dan, with Paul Nicholls having some interesting possibles. News broke earlier in the week that Saphir Du Rheu would be returning to hurdles while Silsol, successful in novice chases, has also been put in along with Wonderful Charm. David Pipe has entered Dynaste, Dan Skelton has given Fixed Brush winner Baradari the option with impressive Wetherby winner Kilcooley in the mix for Charlie Longsdon.
