Three Irish runners in Chester Cup

Last year’s Ebor Handicap winner Dirar is one of three Irish runners in the featured 2m2f Totesport Com Chester Cup at Chester today.

Dirar is one of 17 runners in the race which also features last year’s Amateur Handicap winner at Galway Admiral Barry (Johnny Murtagh) and the David Wachman trained Mount Athos.

Overturn, which himself won last year’s Galway Hurdle, is currently the 5/1 favourite, with Mount Athos on 9/1, Dirar is generally a 10/1 chance while Admiral Barry is generally an 11/1 shot in what looks a wide open renewal.
