Dirar is one of 17 runners in the race which also features last year’s Amateur Handicap winner at Galway Admiral Barry (Johnny Murtagh) and the David Wachman trained Mount Athos. Overturn, which himself won last year’s Galway Hurdle, is currently the 5/1 favourite, with Mount Athos on 9/1, Dirar is generally a 10/1 chance while Admiral Barry is generally an 11/1 shot in what looks a wide open renewal.
