TIGER WARMS UP FOR GUINEAS

Hold That Tiger could make his eagerly awaited seasonal debut in the Gladness Stakes at the Curragh next Sunday, writes Alan Magee.

Aidan O`Brien reports his winter favourite for the 2,000 Guineas in good order, and is steadily building up the colt for a return to action. `The Gladness is a possible at this stage, and we will make a decision closer to the time. He could still go straight for the Guineas.`

The Ballydoyle trainer was speaking after saddling Catcher In The Rye to take the mile maiden for three-year-olds at Leopardstown. `We have always thought a lot of this colt, and he had a few problems last year. Don`t be surprised if he turns up in the Irish Guineas.`
