Toole remains in serious condition Jockey Peter Toole remains in a serious condition following a fall at Aintree yesterday. Toole, from Dunshaughlin, Co Meath was riding Classic Fly in the John Smith's Maghull Novices' Chase when his mount fell heavily at the first fence. Toole was initially taken to Fazakerley Hospital, but was then transferred to the Walton Centre for Neurology where he was put in an induced coma. Trainer Charlie Mann, to whom Toole is attached, said this morning: "Peter is in an induced coma and hopefully they'll bring him round tomorrow. "He's got bleeding on the right side of his brain and they've put him in the coma to give his brain a rest. "He'll be kept in it until tomorrow at the earliest and then the doctors can take a look. His parents are with him and he's in good hands."
