Top jockeys to take part in Donkey Derby For the second year running the Donkey Derby will take place after racing at Galway Greyhound Stadium tonight, with some well known names taking part in the event. National Hunt jockey’s Davy Russell, Davy Condon, Paul Carberry, Barry Geraghty, Robbie Power, Derek O’Connor, Alain Cawley and Nina Carberry will ride in the race, that is sure to attract a big crowd. Gates open at 7pm this evening with the first race due off at 8.30pm.
