Treadwell issues upbeat bulletin as he continues injury recovery Liam Treadwell could be back riding out as early as next week as he makes encouraging progress in his recovery from injury. The Grand National-winning rider sustained a broken left shoulder at Cheltenham on December 16 but did not require an operation and hopes to make a swift return to action. Treadwell said: "It's coming along, slowly but surely. The rehab is going well. I've been swimming every day and have also gone to Oaksey House three times a week." He added: "It's good that the shoulder didn't need operating on and I'll definitely be back for the likes of Cheltenham and Aintree. "Hopefully next week there's even the possibility of riding out."
