Turf Club reciprocate BHA Gilligan ban The Turf Club Referrals Committee have today reciprocated the BHA 6 month disqualification of trainer Paul Gilligan. They imposed a disqualification of 18 months on him for running a horse in Ireland on three occasions when he was aware or should have been aware that the horse had run at an unrecognised meeting. Gilligan did not contest the book of evidence but he would not accept that he did anything wrong. The panel was Judge Tony Hunt, Justice Leonie Reynolds and Colin Magnier.
