Turner shines on Margot in Nunthorpe Hayley Turner landed another Group 1 success this season as Margot Did won the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes. Michael Bell's inmate was still on the bridle approaching the distance and she picked up really well once asked the question and powered right to the line to score by three parts of a length. Margot Did returned at 20-1 with Hamish McGonagall (28-1) second and Prohibit (12-1) filling the frame while favourite Hoof It was just in behind the protagonists. Turner said: "She's a small filly, but she's very tough. "She liked having plenty of room and just blasted. The team at home have done a fantastic job keeping her so well and fresh." Turner was quick to praise Bell, adding: "It must have been difficult for him when I first started, pushing the owners to put a girl on their horses. "Hopefully I can repay him by riding winners like this. "I can't believe it, it's the best season ever. It just goes to show if you work hard and are dedicated it can be done." Turner had made her Group One breakthrough on Dream Ahead in the Darley July Cup at Newmarket last month. Sole Irish raider Requinto failed to make any impression and eventually finished 13th of the 15 runners.
