Two extra hurdle races at Clonmel next week HRI has announced there will be two additional hurdle races at Clonmel on Thursday October 4th, following the cancellation of two steeplechases on the card. These hurdle races are a maiden hurdle for four years old only over two miles and four furlongs and an extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-95 over two miles and four furlongs. This meeting will now close for entries by 12 noon on Monday October 1st. In addition the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Captain Christy Rated Novice Steeplechase will be transferred to Gowran Park on Saturday October 6th and run over three miles and one furlong. It will now close for entries by 12 noon on Tuesday October 2nd.
