Two from two for the Irish at Perth Makhaaleb may have failed to double Paul Carberry and Gordon Elliott's score in race two at Perth, but there was an Irish winner nonetheless, Time Machine landing the Isle of Skye Blended Scotch Whisky Novices' Hurdle for Robbie Hennessy. In the Sublimity colours of Robbie's dad, Bill, Andrew Lynch did the steering on the chestnut son of Halling. The ex-John Gosden flat racer won convincingly enough from the aforementioned Makhaaleb. The Hennessy's are obviously fond of Perth as their only previous runner here, Reportage on August 21st also won.
