Twomey hopes Beautiful can strike in Matron Paddy Twomey is hoping Just Beautiful can give him back-to-back winners in the Group 1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday. The Golden handler landed the 400,000euro prize last year with Pearls Galore and feels the Moyglare Stud-owned Just Beautiful is capable of repeating the dose. She was last seen running out an impressive winner of the Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh in late May and should get her preferred ground at the weekend with a dry forecast. “We've trained her for it this summer since she won her Group 2, (registered as) the Ridgewood Pearl Stakes on Guineas weekend,” said Twomey. “Every time we've wanted to run her the ground has been soft, she needs good ground or better but she's going to turn up. “She's in good form and I'm looking forward to running her. She's got plenty of ability and I'd be hopeful, around there, that she'd do something similar to what the other one did last year.”
